“Excellent spot, great view of the lake. The site was well taken care of. The fire pit was a bit worn but otherwise usable, some parts missing, bent, or broken. The tent itself was surprisingly well made and ventilated. We were able to sleep both nights with at least one flap open to see the sky and lake.”
“Weather was terrible, rainy and windy the whole time, which we did not know would be the case until the morning of our reservation as the forecast was constantly changing. We were not able to have the tent flaps open to enjoy the view, make a fire, sit outside on the chairs or use the beach area. On the plus side the tent did keep out the rain. With 30mph winds coming from the north blowing the rain straight at the tent entrance the canvas on the entrance flap was wet but no water got in the tent. Would have appreciated being able to cancel the day of without losing our money, for $150/night it wasn't worth the stay and rescheduling our trip would have been preferable. Would have been amazing and worth every penny in good weather though, the site it absolutely beautiful and very private.”
“Tent site was great but the facilities were not good. No toilets worked at all (all out of order) and for the price was quite disappointed. Had to drive over to the other side for a bathroom. I think for the price an upgrade to the facilities for tents priced at $150 is expected.”
“5 ⭐️ for location and proximity to parking and restrooms. The portable fire pit with grill was a nice surprise and the tent was roomy. The view is amazing and just down a small hill is the beach.
4⭐️ for cleanliness. The food storage cabinet cannot be locked, hadn’t been cleaned for quite some time and shelves would not accommodate anything tall beyond 6” or so. Adjustable shelves would’ve been perfect.
3⭐️ If you’re concerned with critters/bugs entering the tent, the points where the poles enter the tent’s interior are large enough for small animals like chipmunks to enter.”
“Absolutely perfect campsite and we would love to go back. Our only problem was we were not provided with the combination to the lock on the tent. But it was quickly resolved with a call to customer service.
It would be great if there was a two night minimum required because there are multiple Saturday only reservations all summer long. This makes booking weekend trips impossible.”
“The view is beautiful and the proximity to the beach is amazing. For the price, though, I had expected the tent to have a floor surface that was attached to the sides to keep critters out (the oversized carpet was laid on the decking and just rolled up the sides- there was a large hole in one corner that I had to stuff with a towel). The bed was decent.”
“The tent was well maintained and the view was to die for. It was super easy to get to and the camp host reached out several times to make sure I knew where I was going and that all of my questions were answered.”
