“We had an amazing stay at Bear Creek Hideaway! It’s truly an amazing property and the campsite is right on a very cool part of the creek. There are lots of trails and a beautiful waterfall just a short hike away. The whole area is really spectacular and I’d love to come back sometime! Scott was really helpful and there were lots of nice amenities available. Overall couldn’t have asked for a better experience.”
“This is our second time staying with Scott & Christina and it did not disappoint. This is such a hidden little gem - it feels so remote and yet our hosts were only a phone call away. Easy to book, even with some late changes. Hope to see you next year!”
“If you are new to the outdoors, or just want to get away without the hassle. This is the way to go! I would recommend using the heater at night. It gets cold even in July. Bring extra water, it helps!! If you want to see the waterfall, pay close attention if you hike it, you can miss the sign. We did!!”
“A truly beautiful property! Hearing and seeing the creek at the site was amazing! There’s a nice little deep spot in the creek right at the site to take a cold dip in the morning if you’re into that sort of thing. Definitely worth exploring the trails!! And the large waterfall and swimming area was a lot of fun! It actually rained on our trip, but it really didn’t put a damper on the trip at all - pun intended ;) The rainforesty feel you get at the site and on property is beautiful and perfect for adventuring rain or shine. And yes trust that everything you could possibly need is there. No need to pack beyond personal items, bedding and food. 10/10”
“Absolutely awesome property! Beautiful creek, waterfalls, bridges, hiking and view all on-site. Camp sites have the utmost privacy and are equipped with everything you need and more for a great stay.
CampKeeper is very responsive, helpful, friendly and proud to share his truly amazing private property.
Jim Thorpe is 10-15 minutes away for plenty of other outdoor adventure options and great little bars/restaurants.”
“Very charming site! Fully equipped with ample propane, grill, and other camping essentials including drinking water and an area to clean off in. The heater in the tent was very strong so I think even in the winter you’d be fine. Also- I have a Jeep Wrangler and you need it to drive on the camp site. Essential. Host was great and hospitable. Lovely location.”
“Weather was perfect Friday and Saturday and Sunday was a wash but we needed to get home anyway. My wife toured the property with our dog on Saturday and I got to golf Hideaway Hills GC. Perfect for her and perfect for me. We love the sound of the river and it makes it really easy to sleep.”
“Great attention to detail and customer service! It's evident that the owners take pride in what they offer. Even though it rained while we were there, we stayed dry and we're still able to have fun.”
