Beautiful view from the site & incredible for star-gazing. I recommend the Kaatskeller (dinner/lunch) and Main Street Farm (breakfast/lunch) in town. Also I recommend going to check out the Bio-Dome and getting a tour. Very friendly group!

We felt very welcomed at this beautiful spot and really enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed the hike to the stream. The campsite was clean and the camp keepers were very friendly. The campsite is right off a little road, so it was easy to access but there were other campers walking by, (which would not be noticeable to most except we have very perceptive dogs).

My boyfriend and I had a nice one night stay at Sam's Tentrr in early November. It was cold out (about 30 degrees), but we started a fire in the small camp stove and brought very warm sleeping bags so we were cozy. We arrived late and the Tentrr was easy to find in the dark. Sam was responsive to our questions and accommodated us at the last minute. It was our first Tentrr experience and we enjoyed it.

Loved the location and Sam was very easy going and accommodating! One improvement could be done to the cleanliness of the inside of the tent—I know it is technically camping but the tent stays up there when not in use too, allowing for bugs to make nests inside. If you don’t mind that though, it was a superb experience, really peaceful, isolated but not deserted area which makes it a perfect getaway to recharge. We loved the stargazing at night with milkyway visible and watching the sunsets form our Adirondack chairs! Sam provided us with a finely working grill. One heads up: one night we were there was very cold, and the stove didn’t last all night to keep us warm, we had wake up every hour to refill wood and were still cold (maybe we didn’t use it correctly?). The nearby town Livingston Manor and the Main Market cafe and farmers market was amazing. And definitely stop by the beer garden Kaatskills, delicious food and a great outdoor seating area (also a mention to the local brewery is necessary, really tasty beers!). All in all, it was a great trip for us, so thank you Sam and the rest of Haven keepers!
