“Hi, Loved the site. Not too far a jaunt to get to site. Their was no lock on tent and the cart also had no lock. Was happy there was a faucet for water. Was happy a bathroom was nearby.”

“The Tentrr that we stayed in was clean. The problem was with the zipper on the screen. It was broken so we were unable to get any air while inside the tent. We had to keep the canvas door closed at all times.”

“The camp site location was great, however the zipper to the screen on the front of the tent was broken so you couldn’t have it open for a breeze. I called but nothing was repaired during my stay.”

“The concept was s great but a few things started off wrong. There was no wagon to unload our stuff as told. We got to the tent and the main screen zipper was broken. Idea of having just the screen door for the nice breeze was nixed because of it. Of all the sites ours was the only one without a view of lake. There was a trail to it but was overgrown with a lot of poison ivy. Still had a nice time but tents should be looked prior to accepting reservations.”

“The accommodations were good- right off lake, large site, platform rent with good mattress, 2 nice chairs, fire pit, picnic table and cabinet. The only drawback was M25 was right there. Too much road noise.”

“We loved camping at this location, close to the beach, very private, not crowded like the main campground. The bathrooms are not too far away. Our tent did not have a view of Lake Huron, it was more surrounded by forest. Next time I would choose a tent with a view of Lake Huron in this location. I would like to come back again.”

“My girlfriend and I stayed on Fathers day weekend. We stayed at tent site I. Port o potty could not be found. We used the parks restroom. Disgusting. I did have the wherewithal to build my own diy out of a bucket and a large tarp for privacy. Glad I did. There were openings in the bottom corners of the tent for mosquitoes and spiders. The trail to the beach could be groomed. On a positive note. The beach was nice, the site had enough furniture and supplies, and their was a wagon padlocked for use to transport your stuff to the site. Just have to remember your code. We slept comfortably on the bed provided. We really didn't care for all the dog barking across the road at the state park. We still managed to have a good time at the beach and our fire at night. You just have to remember that you are actually really camping. Nothing fancy.”

Hey there, thanks for your feedback here. Without honest reviews like yours, we wouldn't know where to improve. We are very sorry to hear that you had a less-than-ideal stay at one of our campsites. Since your review, we've gotten in touch with the host at this particular site and addressed some of your concerns. She is aware of them and moving forward with future bookings, will be more mindful of the items you mentioned. We are glad that you still got the chance to enjoy the beach, and we hope to see you back out on a Tentrr adventure soon. Cheers! The Tentrr Team

“My boyfriend, 2 dogs, and I camped at one of the Tentrr sites at Sleeper State Park and it was one of the best camping experiences we’ve ever had! The tent and site was amazing with a gorgeous view of Lake Huron. We’re already planning to reserve the same site again next year. The one drawback is the only bathroom near the sites is a portable toilet and there is no running water. The closest bathroom with running water is over 1/4 mile away and the nearest showers require a walk across an elevated pedestrian bridge and halfway across the main campground. Definitely need a closer bathroom!”
