“IT WAS A NICE STAY BUT I DO THINK THE PRICE WAS ALOT FOR NO ELECTICTITY AND HOW FAR YOU HAD TO WALK TO THE BATHROOMS AS WELL AS THE UNPACKING THE CAR AND PACKING THE CAR WAS A BIT OF AN INCONVEINCE WALKING SO FAR . AT LEAST GIVE EACH SITE ITS OWN PORTA POTTY OR HAVE 1 PORTA POTTY PER EVERY 2 SITES LOCATED RIGHT AT THE BOTTOM OF THE WALK THROUGH AD GIVE US ELECTICITY . ALSO THE THE CANVAS TENT WAS FILTHY WITH SAND ALL INSIDE AND SO WAS THE POP UP TENT”
Dena - Thanks for your feedback on the Huron Beachside Site. The sand situation has been addressed. Campers are normally asked to sweep the tent as part of their departure tasks, but the instructions were missing from this tent, so the prior camper may not have been aware that this was part of their clean-up tasks. Our CampGuide is adding checkout information to this tent to prevent this issue from happening in the future. We are evaluating your feedback on the bathrooms with the park staff as a potential future improvement.
