“What a wonderful campsite! Super secluded and peaceful, had everything we needed. I went with 8 friends and we had so much space with plenty of wonderful spots along the creek to pitch a few extra tents. Mike was super helpful in getting us set up, and perfectly hands off, giving us the place to ourselves to grill and hang around the campfire. There are also plenty of good swimming spots a short drive away too, which is perfect for a summer getaway. Only small note is there were a few bugs around this time of year at dawn & dusk but that was an easy fix with all the tiki torches Mike had set up for us with citronella, and just remember to bring your bug spray for those few hours and you have nothing to worry about!”
“It was an amazing experience!! Mike was a wonderful host and he helped us out in any way he could. The location itself was completely secluded, calm, beautiful and with the creek flowing on side it was just the perfect weekend getaway! Waking up to the sound of the creek flowing was the best part of the whole experience. Will definitely come back & recommend it highly.”

“Amazing experience!!! I can not recommend enough Creekside Thyme. The site is beautiful and magical! A real treat to stay there. Since the beginning to the end it was just perfect. Mike was such a great host. He had a list of all the things to do nearby, places to hike and eat. I followed his recommendations, though it was tempting to stay there all the time and not leave. I went to great hikes nearby and apple picking! Because of weather conditions we were not able to take the beehive tour, though I bought the honey Mike makes, its delicious! I will definitely go back! I recommend it 100%. I am not an experienced camper, but the way it is all set, makes it easy for people like myself and my family to enjoy and experience the outdoors in such a unique way. Thank you!”
“Beautiful creek campsite with therapeutic relaxing sounds of water throughout the day and night. Really woodsy and secluded as I hoped. Outhouse was good and wood stove in tent was even better (you definitely need to know how to control the fire and smoke). Host Michael is the best! He is super friendly, kind and accommodating to make your stay comfortable and sweet. Had a GREAT time with my girlfriend. Only wish could see more of the beautiful stars from under the trees.”

“I’ve never had a better camping experience! If you’re looking for a great place to stay in the Catskills you have to stay here! We were looking for a place closer to the more main attractions like Kaaterskill Falls and North-South Lake but couldn’t turn down the opportunity to stay here after we saw the pictures and it truly didn’t disappoint. We amended our plans to hit the sights we came to the area for on the drive there and back but we had so much fun doing the things our camp keeper suggested! We checked out Lake Myosotis and did the corresponding trail around it (Mike’s recommendation) and took way more photos there than Kaaterskill Falls! Mike is seriously sweet and so attentive. He made sure we had plenty of firewood to keep us warm on the first chilly nights of the fall season and had the camp set up with lanterns/torches and citronella candles to keep the bugs away. Definitely added extra oomph to our experience! Oh, and if you’re like us and not interested in cooking on vacation check out The Tasting Lab for some great pub food less than 15 min away.”
“What can i say??? This place is beautiful and perfect!!! I love that you can hear the sound of the creek while trying to sleep and waking up, it’s so therapeutic! I needed a secluded place like this to have a good break from reality. Also Michael the campkeeper was a sweetheart! It was my boyfriend and i’s first time camping and this place didnt disappoint :) i was sooo sad i did not want to leave! I will definitely come back here! It was an unforgettable experience :) Dont forget to bring your hammock its a must! Thank you again Michael we had a great time there! If you’re looking for a place this is it!’!!
