“The Hilltop Hideaway was a fantastic escape about an hour from New York City. Set back against the woods, overlooking rolling fields and the mountains in the distance, the clean tent and campsite had everything you need. Rocking chairs on the covered porch of the tent was an added bonus. Close enough to a local supermarket and farmer's market in case you forgot anything as well. The host Dominic was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the booking, preparation and arrival process. I would highly recommend it for a getaway.”

“We had the most wonderful time camping this weekend. The view was spectacular! The location of our site was perfect, it was extremely clean, private and secluded. There are other campsites nearby, but they are far enough away where you don't even know they are there. The tent was very clean and there was enough room for us to put sleeping bags on the floor as well to fit a total of six people in the tent. Be sure to bring a pop up canopy to go over the picnic table in case it rains. We had our own and it saved us the one day it rained. Even though the site came with a grill we cooked over the camp fire instead. The fire pit came with a swivel grill, which was perfect for cooking on. “Fantastic site with an incredible view, unfortunately there is now another campsite set up *just* behind it … last year it was literal bliss out in nature; this year it was more the incessant screaming and crying of young children, with they and their parents constantly walking up to use our site for their kids to play on the grass (and leaving stuff everywhere!!). Again, this SUCH a beautiful and well-maintained spot but the whole experience was absolutely ruined by our neighbors, so we likely won’t be back. Would definitely reconsider if the second site was moved further off, or if there was at least some sort of divider or sign to keep other campers from using our site.”

“Beautiful location . However when we arrived the light in the tent wasn’t charged, there’s a bucket with water but it was empty. Which makes it very inconvenient can’t even wash hands. One porta potty shared between everyone . The tent was very clean and the view was amazing.”
“The Hilltop Hideaway is a tremendous weekend retreat. It’s serene and secluded with an impressive view. The tent, the Coleman equipment, and the campsite as a whole were all very well kept. Dominic clearly cares about providing an absolute 5-star glamping experience for his guests. I see myself returning to this site.”
