“The location by the water was perfect. The tent was in good condition. The firepit and picnic table were handy. There was a campsite over that played extremely loud music throughout the night, until 2am. Other than that, the trip was great.”
“This is my second attempt at a review as the first one was apparently deleted. I had a terrible experience at this site. I had to spend an hour cleaning up as there were beer bottles and other trash at the site. The inside of the tent was filthy. It was missing a trash can and several other listed items. And a man tried to gain access to my tent in the late hours of the night while I was in bed. As a woman camping alone, this was a terrifying experience and when I informed the woman at the check-in booth about what happened, she could not have cared less, giving only "Okay, thanks" as a reply. If Tentrr can't handle honest reviews it's a sign of a much larger problem. Will not be visiting one of their sites again.”

We are so deeply sorry to hear about your experience at Fontainebleau State Park. Please know that we are looking into all issues with equipment at that site, and we sincerely apologize that there were items taken prior to your arrival. We have never received any reports of bed bugs from any of our previous campers but will perform a full inspection. “Beautiful view and great camping spot. Wasn’t cool enough to keep the mosquitos way so we were eaten up. This location was missing the 4 person pop up tent.
We would love to go again!
Kids had a blast. It was located right next to the beach area.

“Campsite location was beautiful. The tent was already unlocked (kind of concerning since we were emailed the code). The large quantity of urine and broke toilet seat inside the tent was not. Nor the balled up popup tent shoved in the far corner of the tent or knocked over trash can with rotting food strewn around the campsite.
Spent the rest of the day on the beach nearby an never saw a person come and check on the site at all.
Also the lack of response from support about the issues gives me pause on reserving Tentrr in the future.”
“Potentially a beautiful spot however the site was trashy and the carpet in the tentrr was filthy. When we arrived the tent including the screen door was wide open which seemed odd. There was a foul smell that we attributed to mildew or the nearby marsh but found out later someone had taken a dump in our toilet. We also went hiking and checked out some of the other tentrr sites that were absolutely trashed and all unlocked and open. Thank goodness we didn't rent one of them as they were not even useable.”
Hey there, thanks for your feedback here. Without honest reviews like yours, we wouldn't know where to improve. We are very sorry to hear that you had a less-than-ideal stay at one of our campsites. Since your review, we've gotten in touch with the host at this particular site and we are in the process of evaluating and cleaning all of the sites at Fontainebleau to ensure they are in perfect condition. Unfortunately, our full time host has been out due to surgery, so we have a team heading out in her stead to address the issues that you have outlined. Thank you so much for letting us know.
