“Great idea to get away for a weekend! There is one tent close by the public beach and easy access from the parking (if you carry a lot ok things) and another one where there is only access by water meaning load your canoe with your camping gear and row for 15min to land on a desert beach for a unique experience! The Canoe are free to use. The host is very responsive and will do the extra mile for you. Don’t forget to bring your own sheet/pillow or sleeping bag! We would do it again but probably later in the season as Labor Day weekend is still hot and humid, and can bring lots of mosquitoes and love bugs. October should be better.”
“Tent was nice and clean. Hole in tent that needed to be patched. Wasps in tent when we arrived. A fly swatter would be nice to have handy in tent and would have been nice if area immediately surrounding the tent would have been weeded and cleaned up so we didn’t have to travel through tall weeds to get to it. Other than that enjoyed our stay and was a pretty view.”
