Our host was in communication of what to expect from the start. We got there as explained and had everything set up upon arrival. The view is spectacular and the area is quite. We had an extra tent we brought for the kids and enjoyed our private camp over looking the property below. The stars were beautiful to see. There is a bit of wind and sun in the morning and evening. The saw dust toilet worked out great and was simple enough for the five year to be comfortable. This site is on a farm and you are able to purchase some fresh eggs to cook. There was a propane bbq, single burner, grilling accessories, 5 gallon water, and trash area. There is a gas heater in the tent as well that helped keep warm. Just bring your own bedding and food and you are set! This spot was memorable and close to many attractions such as Safari West, Old Faithful, Russian River Brewery, and the Petrified Forest. Enjoy your stay.

This place was better than I expected. The fog rolling in at night and out in the morning was so nice. 20 degrees cooler than Sacramento and just a peaceful time with some light hiking near by. Fantastic experience

We had a great time taking kids camping to this site. Tent itself is well kept and nicely decorated. The set up is super convenient, and it was easy to prepare a nice simple dinner. Having it all in an amazing location made for an unforgettable camping experience. Would love to come back. Thank you!

Exactly like the picture. Beautiful views and very quiet. The site itself has a well working propane grill, picnic table, Adirondack chairs, a metal fire grate, grill brush, lighter, basic pots/pans, extra water and an extra propane tank. We didn’t use the extra water/profane but it’s great to have just in case. In the tent there was a small propane heater that we turned on one night for 10 min or so and it heated the tent up very nicely (it was 49 degrees outside to this was nice!). We had to turn the heater on/off approx 10 times before we got it turned on so just be aware of that. Queen bed was surprisingly comfortable and where were some books and cards on the bedside tables. After putting all our food in the car we left our site for a few hours one day but some type of animal still got into the campsite and got into our wet naps. Not sure what type of animal but just make sure to keep your site clean as to not attract unwanted visitors. The breeze kept the mosquitos away but we didn’t find a tick on our dog to make sure to do tick checks daily. The wind can make it a bit noisy in the tent at night but it didn’t bother us. Damon was great and brought wood to the campsite for us at $10 a box. We ordered 2 boxes of wood and got way more wood than expected, to include kindling which made fire starting easier. All in all, great trip!
