Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“The Tent was not clean. Our carpet was in the grass and full of Sand. We had to put the fire pit together that was in a box. The old one was buried in sand. The table was full of wasp and unable to be used. We had to set our carpet up ourselves, after cleaning it, thus the floor was uncovered. Wasp inside the tent. Killed about 40. Very displeased!! There was a water cooler out there but it was so dirty we couldn’t even put water in it. Thankfully they left a broom for us to sweep.”
“We ended up changing the rental to camp E by the pond. The tent and area itself might have needed some cleaning up but we switched last minute so I can’t fault that. It’s camping, come prepared and ready to walk and pack a lot of stuff. The tent is set up and very nice but the spiders! bring bug spray and peppermint spray. It stormed the second day so the bed was nice and comfy ☺️”
“This site is awesome, probably one of the best official campground sites I’ve camped at in Louisiana. You’re quite remote and literally right on the water. Awesome place to play Robinson Crusoe for a couple days. However, this may be more of an adventure than a glamping experience some may expect. Fine for me because I like this kind of stuff, but I suspect some people may not. The tent, platform, service and experience is awesome, but the paddle out here can be brutal when winds come out of the West or South. You can check the forecast, but things can change on a dime in the Lake meaning you may not be able to get out here or may have to wait for winds to die down…or be stuck out here. You need to be comfortable paddling in choppy water. Also, the water was high and the waves were crashing at the steps meaning I had to get in the water every time I went in or out of the tent. I cut some bushes to the side of the tent and climbed in and out of the side of the platform. Not that big of a deal, but they should probably move the steps to the side or reposition the platform for when the water rises. Also, there were lots of spiders and there’s nothing you can do to keep them from getting in a tent this size. Thankfully I brought my own mosquito net which kept the creepy crawlies off me while I slept. All in all, an amazing experience, and I’ll be back!”
“We LOVED this campsite!! It was close to home, yet felt so remote because of the paddle out part. The tent was in great condition and the bed was comfy. The views were breathtaking! We actually ended up staying at site I rather than J because the water was pretty choppy when we were heading out so we opted for a shorter paddle. Definitely recommend, we will be back!”
“the weather made getting to the site difficult. Patrick was SO helpful, he allowed us to stay at a different site until we were able to make it to our original lakeside site. be aware that the canoe ride is not a sweet little ride down a lake to the campsite. The lake is HUGE and was very choppy due to the weather. however, the trip back was very nice and easy. 10/10 would visit again, so happy I got this experience, and next time I will be more prepared”
