“The site was wonderful! Our 3 children had a great time both on the shore and in the woods. The nights got chilly and we were glad to have the wood stove to keep us all warm and cozy.”
“We had a WONDERFUL stay here, and truly enjoyed Fall in Maine. We arrived at night, and agree with the other review that in the future a daytime arrival would be ideal. That being said, DO NOT take the "high clearance car and 4WD" suggestion lightly. I have a Honda HRV and was definitely knocking on some of the bumps in the road.
The seclusion at this site is unparalleled. We were able to enjoy quiet time at the camp, on the beach, and also on the platform near the water (bonus firepit near the ocean!). The tent and area in generally were very clean, and there were pots/pans/utensils available in case you needed anything. The bunkbeds were massive, and we both ended up getting SUCH good sleep on the mattresses provided. The wood stove kept the tent toasty all night, and was very easy to light.
The tiki torches were empty and we were bummed we didn't find the additional torch fluid until we were checking out, but those are such a nice touch to have!
We opted for some extras: the eggs were A M A Z I N G and we can't recommend them enough. Additionally we got a soap each and they smell incredible!”

“This location was such a gem! This was our first experience using Tentrr, and I was a bit skeptical at first, but this setup was incredible. Our host was very helpful and responsive, and the location was set up in a very thoughtful way, which made our experience very comfortable. I really liked the personal touches such as the readily available firewood (by donation) and the option to purchase farm fresh eggs and hand crafted soaps. The host also provided fresh water from their well (yum). It’s secluded enough yet also close enough to the grocery store for provisions.

“We had a great time here, really close to the shoreline, quiet, and well set up (separate toilet tent was really nice), we appreciate the extras (very fresh eggs and wonderful soap). Even though we were a bit late in the season for swimming, we still loved shell collecting (horseshoe crabs were a huge hit!) and walking the shore line to throw rocks into the river, we were thoroughly at ease the whole two night stay.
The only thing I will say for folks with smaller kids, the upper bunk doesn’t have railings, so we were unable to use it for them and were a bit more cramped sleeping than we were hoping for - but that is really my fault for not noticing there are no railings on the images!”
“Our stay at Medomak River Farm was wonderful. We were with our 2 year old son, and we all had an incredible time. The location was excellent right on the water and we saw many beautiful sunsets. I would recommend borrowing the linens from the host, as it made for an easy camping experience. I would highly recommend this location! Thank you for a wonderful trip.”
