It's a beautiful property, but the photos in the reservation are not very accurate or helpful. Would recommend calling ahead to confirm which tent you're getting (we got shuffled around) and maybe ask for recent photos, as the tents don't seem to age well. Also the ticks this season (2021) are truly insane, we were pulling them off of ourselves and our belongings constantly. Come armed with deet and tweezers...seriously. All that said, the location is a fantastic home base for all the amazing places to visit in Stone Ridge, High Falls, Rosendale, and Accord. And I bet the property would be even more fun during pick-your-own-apple season (seems we were a bit early on July 4 weekend).

There was a mix up with booking and our tent was mistakenly listed. The owner of the orchard was very receptive and came up with a creative solution so we could enjoy our stay at the orchard. Looking forward to coming back and staying in the tents.

We LOVED this site so much! Such great landscape to get away from the city for the weekend! Plus there is a great farmers market, firewood pizza food truck, and of course the cider bar :)

Farm was beautiful. The host was not there but the people on the farm were fantastic. Good Apple Cider, our main concern was the tent. The floor is open so at night it was CRAWLING with bugs so much so that we left at 5AM. I think these tents need to be designed better and bug proof. In a normal pitch tent there are not holes in the bottom, it's completely sealed!

The tentrr is in a beautiful location (open tall grassy field on the top of a hill, walking distance from a pond on the property, mountain views w/ star and comet shows if you are lucky) and Elizabeth greeted us with fresh peaches and cider made there at the farm. She was a great welcoming host who even let us use the tasting room bathroom with real plumbing although she didn't have to! However, we left early due to the amount of ticks at the campsite. Between the two of us and our puppy we pulled off tens of ticks (we estimate 20) even after spraying ourselves with deet. That part was unfortunate, I've grown up with ticks but this was just too many. We still had one great night there!
