Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“My girlfriend and I had a great time! The orchard is beautiful and the apples and apple treats are even better. Micheline and everyone involved were incredibly kind. The Tentrr is far enough from the orchard happenings to feel remote and close enough for you to get anything you might need.”
“Really idyllic, beautiful spot in a meadow - there’s no shade, so I brought a porch umbrella and stayed cool in the sunshine. Elizabeth and her charming cohort were thoughtful, accommodating and always available. We spent a lot of time talking about the orchard, the fowl that live there, and cider. Tentrr’s facilities - especially the covetable Colorado tent and smartly designed, sturdy furniture - were also noteworthy. Finally, great produce at Davenport’s and amazing steaks and sausages from Applestone are just a short drive or ride away. After all, if you’ve got an outdoor fire, you have to use it! An immersive, fantastic experience that I’ll not forget soon.”
“My husband and I had a wonderful experience at this Tentrr. It was just what we needed. We drove over in a smart car and had no issues accessing the property.
We escaped the City over the Memorial Day Weekend, not knowing what to expect. When we got to Orchard Tent, we were greeted by Elizabeth, who kindly offered us a yummy bottle of apple cider, brewed from the apples of the orchard. The location was easy to find and Elizabeth directed us to it. Elizabeth provided us with linens, but I think that was a courtesy of being her inaugural guests!
The property is super beautiful- remote, but conveniently located near an AMAZING ice cream shop, a place to get groceries, and a pet store- exactly what we needed! At night, you smell the freshness of the orchard, nearby ponds, and lush forest of Mohank reserve (a quick run, bike or car ride to access and hike), an all you can see are thousands of fire flies. After a day's hike nearby, the serenity of the valley, surrounded by hilly forest, was all we needed.
In the morning, we grabbed some fresh eggs and more cider for the trip home. The farm is such a gem, we were happy we took the leap of faith and became the Orchard's first two tentrrs. We hope to return some day soon.”
