“Host was great. Location awesome and accurate and def will be visiting again. Only downside was the mattress atleast on the lower bunk was very lumpy and uncomfortable. Other then that, great experience.”
“Highwoods is a wonderful camping site. Everything is perfectly prepared with care, tent was very clean, there are multiple grills to choose from and a relaxing hammock. The directions to the site were clear and easy to follow, having an AWD car will help with the little bit of off roading. We heard some gunshots in the distance during the day, but they were not constant. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return.”
“Everything I hoped for. The site is just a short distance from parking allowing you to easily haul gear (plus there's a wheelbarrow). This site was nice and secluded; I felt like I was alone in the woods even though it's an easy drive to some local stores and trails. I def want to stay here again! So relaxing!”
“This was the perfect spot. I really enjoyed my stay. One of my more comfortable camping experiences. The host was accommodating and had fast response times. The tent was the perfect distance from the house. Far enough for privacy but close enough if I needed anything. I will definitely be coming back here!”
