“The campsite was AMAZING — beautiful, secluded, shady. We had a wonderful time even on one of the hottest weekends of the year. Foraged for mushrooms, played cards, threw hatchets, made fires, fell asleep to the sound of the stream, read in peace, spotted some wildlife. Harris, the host, is lovely — very knowledgable about the area and many other subjects. He was super responsive and helpful- — it was a pleasure all around! We will be back.”
“My husband, kids and parents had a lovely stay at Mount Hope Stream! We spent two relaxing nights. the property is gorgeous; in the middle of the forest with a lovely creek. The host and his wife are very hospitable and showed us around on their beautiful property; we met the chickens and admired the vegetable garden and the gorgeous turtle eggs nest. I highly recommend staying here if you want to get away from all the city noise!”
“Loved this place! It’s peaceful, beautiful, and private. Harris was a great host; he showed us around and provided plenty of firewood for our weekend stay. There was a cute stream and some trails to hike. The tent was clean and cozy and packed with everything you’d need for a fun camping weekend. I definitely recommend this place and would book again!!”
