“My family with two young boys (10 and 7) had a blast at this site. The first thing you'll notice when driving up is the axe-throwing target, which was in constant use by the boys throughout our stay. Harris was a great host and showed us around the place (36 acres, and 100+ more in an adjacent property) and set up the propane heater. Temps were in the 30s at night, but we were warm with the heater on low/medium. The site had everything you'd need. The camp loo is in a separate tent, which we appreciated even though it was cold at night. We got the coffee/hot chocolate extra - highly recommended (Gourmet chef-made hot chocolate and very nice coffee (for a dark roast :) ).
We and our boys had a blast roaming/playing around the property. They even built a fort out of fallen logs!”
“If you're looking for a peaceful getaway this location is for you! Harris was a wonderful host that responded to all of our questions very quickly. Host was very accommodating to our needs/requests and even supplied us with some extra firewood. Surrounded by nature. Perfect escape from the city.
The tent was very clean and furnished well. We could not have asked for a better location. Overall a wonderful place; we would stay here again easily!”
