“The site was lovely and peaceful and out of the way. Albert was so hospitable, even lending us coffee mugs because we had forgotten ours. We didn't explore the grounds too much and basically stayed at our site - we just wanted a weekend away to relax somewhere that we could see the stars at night. There was a thunderstorm one night and the tent kept us nice and dry. Definitely recommend!”

“we really enjoyed our stay in palmerton. EVERYTHING needed was within 20 minutes away and my boyfriend and i really enjoyed our hike at bake oven knob. highly recommend, but it is a harder trail, very rocky, but so worth it.. albert has some steep hills getting to and from the tent so beware for rain and a small car/no 4x4. beautiful spot though, it was very peaceful. loved looking at the stars at night. the little town is just a few minutes away and we really enjoyed our dinner at this bar. had a wonderful mule selection if that's your thing. albert was really nice and helpful. i would definitely go back to this area, there are so many cool things to do. country farms diner is a few minutes away and was the perfect spot for breakfast. 10/10 recommend this spot for your weekend getaway :))))”
“My friends and I had a great stay at the Palmerton campsite! Our campkeeper was so friendly and even gave us an axe and helped us cut some wood for our camp fire. The tent was awesome and we were able to end the night sitting by the campfire under the stars. I definitely want to stay at another Tentrr site again!”
“We had a great time at Albert's campsite! It is nestled among beautiful pine trees and very peaceful. We enjoyed exploring the town of Jim Thorpe which is nearby. The rooster was great and we got to see his cute donkey!”
“My boyfriend and I could only get away from life for one night and this was perfect for us! Tucked away from the rest of the world on a beautiful meadow with butterflies fluttering everywhere. Deer grazed in the meadow a few times throughout the day and it was extremely peaceful. Plenty of forest to hike through and the town is just a short drive which was convenient for purchasing ice and beverages. There are pubs and restaurants as well.
Albert was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Alberts Rooster, that we lovingly named Henry, made sure we woke up at sunrise...so if you’re looking to sleep in I would suggest you bring along something to cancel out the noise. We, on the other hand, enjoyed the sounds of nature! We were also hoping for a swimmable pond or water feature to keep us cool but unfortunately the pond was out of commission. We managed to keep cool anyway by setting up the tarp over the deck of our campsite. I took lots of gorgeous pics but it doesn’t appear that I can share them in my review :(
