Had another great trip to Maybrook Farm! We did have a problem driving into the site due to all the rain this Fall; I think a SUV would have been ok but our car couldn't drive all the way in. Just a word to the wise. Also the firewood provided was extremely hard to split; recommend picking up your own on the way in.

This special spot has come to hold a precious place in our family's heart! This is our third year visiting and every time we are amazed at the natural beauty and tranquility of this place. Whether we are fishing at the small pond, walking around the beautiful property or taking in the view by the fire, there is nothing but joy to be found here. We will visit this site every year that we are physically able!!

Very beautiful place, remote, beautiful view all around! Even though it was stormy all day, this place is beautiful. The only thing you need to keep in mind is that at the end of September it is already cool and you need to stock up on warm clothes for the night.

Such a lovely location! The view is spectacular. The campsite has the feel of being isolated yet is not far from people should they be needed. The grounds are beautifully maintained with a grass hiking trail that looks like it's mowed daily. It winds down to a pond and a little dock where one can sit (I did some video shooting in several locations as they were so pretty.) The pond isn't for swimming, just for lounging around, though it is lovely to hear the sound of water moving. The host was very responsive to any texts and helped me extend an extra day. The only challenges I ran into were weather related (heavy rains and scary lighting storms!) that could happen anywhere. This is an easily accessible tranquil site I will likely come back to again!

Gorgeous location! Amazing to be alone out in nature so close to NYC - no other tents, no need to talk to anyone, just book and follow the directions to this beautiful spot. Very good for bird watching!

We stayed here for two nights. The location was absolutely AMAZING. The tent sat on top of a hill in a beautiful farm that had a pond and several walking trails. We loved the quietness and tranquility. The host was very responsive and communicative so we really appreciated that. However, the bathroom and shower situations were less than average and very difficult to use. The camping toilet was encased in a little tent that was way too small for an average adult to get into. I’m 100 lbs, 5’1” and could barely get inside the tent. We didn’t mind the camping toilet itself. The shower was as described and there was no covering at all so be prepared for the “naked and afraid” style shower. We found a few ticks inside the tent and one on the mattress the first night so don’t forget to bring tick repellent! If you were looking for a primitive camping experience in an absolute beautiful farm, this place is perfect! We would LOVE to come back if it wasnt for the bathroom and shower.
