Matched the description as explained here on the site. The hosts were super responsive and helpful and gave great recommendations. The land itself is very private and beautiful. Hikes and swimming options are close.

Sunrise meadow was so beautiful and was the perfect getaway that we needed. We picked berries, cooked, made a camp fire, hiked, and swam around the area. Jon and Helen were wonderful hosts and gave us great recommendations for food and hikes around the area! Would definitely come back again.

Our first Tentrr experience, and it was a good one! Such a pretty place... quiet and private. Our first night was drizzly rain, but we were comfortable in the tent. I highly recommend adding on the linens as they were cozy and soft. So many good hikes nearby! Vernooy Kill Falls was a great hike with kids. Pretty with some great shallow splashing spaces. Thank you Jon & Helen!

This spot was beautiful! The perfect place to stargaze in the evening, and hike around the surrounding waterfalls in the day! Jon the host went above and beyone to make our stay memorable and comfortable! I would highly reccomend!

Loved this stay so much! Celebrated our two year anniversary and couldn't have had a better time! It was nice to get away for a little and have gorgeous scenery and trails all around us. We started up in Saugerties for the Kaaterskills Falls, then went down to Woodstock to walk around town and grab lunch at Early Terrible, then finally made our way down to Sundown to set up camp and hit the Ashokan Rail Trail. The campsite was easy, clean, and private and felt very special. Our host, Jon, was great with communication and made sure we knew everything we needed to know and always offered anything we needed! Highly recommend and we'd love to come back!

It was a great experience. I’ve camped before but never in the forest with no electricity/water. However this was a great experience. John left us enough water and drinking water for the weekend. The view is so peaceful and gorgeous. It was a very relaxing experience. The town is 20 min away and river too. We loved it.
