“The spot was just as described, but with luxury accommodation. Bruce was a wonderful host, personable and thoughtful. Bottled water, charcoal for the grill, candles by our bedside plus a roaring campfire to welcome us as we arrived after sundown. Couldn’t recommend more!”

Beyond his genuine kindness and warm welcome, he went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, had all we needed, and really made the most of our stay. He gave excellent recommendations and was only a text message away when we needed him. Echo Hill was in the perfect location and we really enjoyed the privacy that is usually missing from a typical campground. Not to mention the whole area is absolutely stunning! “This campsite was amazing! Everything was set up so nicely, Echo Hill's campkeeper Bruce was very kind and generous. This was our family's first time camping, and our kids and both my husband and I had an amazing experience. Bruce provided us enough supplies while we stayed. All we actually needed was just food and bedding. He explained us some of the locals that we should visit as well. Our family had a wonderful time at this campsite and we will definitely go back. “This was the first time camping for me and my wife and we could not have had a better experience. Bruce was great. We literally needed only food and bedding. Everything else was provided. We had a chance to explore the Umpachene State Falls and grab a sandwich and breakfast at the Southfield Store. There was plenty of room for our dog and I think that he enjoyed it as much as we did. We are looking forward to returning.”
“This was an amazing set up and we had a great weekend! Bruce was so friendly and gave us a lot of recommendations (farmer's markets, farms to visit for fresh, organic produce, hikes, and ponds). He offered to take us to the locations by having us follow him behind his car and always made sure we had enough supplies at the site. Indy was also a great surprise guest (beautiful Grand Dane) that stopped by before heading out on our hike! Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay. It's also not too far coming from the city.”
