“Riverhouse really did exceed our expectations, even after reading the 5 star reviews. Richard, and his wife Mary, outdid themselves as hosts. Timely support on things like firewood or farm fresh eggs. We were on a gorgeous stretch of the river, and spent the day casting and catching bass. The tent and site were in impeccable condition. The only thing you can hear at night is the bubble of the river and the sound of the night eruption around you. Would definitely visit Riverhouse again, fantastic experience”
“What a beautiful campsite! This was the perfect place for my husband and I to spend our anniversary. The woods surrounding you and the DE river are amazing and the campsite is in a great location. Our host was very accommodating and brought us the firewood we needed to stay warm. He has paths along the property so you can walk through nature. At night all you see is stars and hear the crickets in the trees. Would definitely come back here :)”

“The site is quite beautiful. It is right on the water so its very relaxing. There is a short path for you to walk your belongings from you car to the site so it's not for anyone who may have mobility issues. Fortunately, we don't so we really enjoyed it. Richard the host was very available and friendly. I would definitely go again!”
