The brand new Oztrail Lumos 6 Person Fast Frame Tent features the fastest system for pitching allowing a setup in minutes. With a single room footprint it offers enough space for smaller families on shorter trips. There is a large front easy step door with an awning for additional shade.The twin hub frame gives maximum horizontal headroom. The Tent also features no-see-um mesh panels throughout for insect protection. This model also includes a zippered access port for integrating either a heater or air-conditioner. The tent also comes with an oversized and easy to stuff carry bag. There is a blockout coating on the fly to block light and reduce heat in summer. Great for when you want to sleep in. The Lumos series features a 750 lumen LED light system powered by either 4 D Cell Batteries (not included) or any USB battery pack. USB connections are included for your convenience. **Please keep in mind that the black coating on the inside of the block-out fly can flake away with use, causing pinpricks of light to appear. This is especially the case around the seams. This is perfectly normal and does not affect the product's ability to reduce light or temperature and can be fixed using black tenacious tape or something similar if you aren't a fan of the starry night effect.**

“This replace a 20 yr old Coleman 4person for us. Very comfortable for 2 people and a dog with stretcher beds, you could have fit in a third with space down the middle. It’s so nice to be able to stand up inside! The tent itself went up in 5 minutes, the cover took about 30 min the first time to work out how it all fits together. I love the light, just remember to keep the screens shut as we got a couple of moths inside. It’s just enough to see, but with the cover you can’t really see the lights from 10m away. Blackout is the best, it was cold anyway so I can’t speak to the shade reducing the internal tent temp, but I got a good sleep and didn’t wake up sweaty. We kept the front awning open (pointing north) so we still had enough light to wake us up, you would need to take down the awning poles and fully zip up for complete blackout.”

“I bought the Oztrail Lumos 6 based on the fast up setup, the integral LED lighting, and the general specifications for weather etc. Having just tried it over the weekend, it performed flawless. We went into the high country, where it was wet, buggy, snowing, windy and generally as horrible as you would want it for a first night in a new tent. Yes, there was a bit of humidity on the inside, but it never stopped raining, even during setup and stripdown. So it ended up weighing an additional 5kg with all the rain it had on packup. That being said, we had a dry night. It kept us very dry. Two of us were able to set it up and keep most of the rain out during setup. Yeah, be careful there, the tent will let the rain in until the fly is on. The only letdown was the carry bag. We ripped it while pulling the tent out of the car. The stitching isn't as great as it could be. But the carry bag is very thin and probably not going to survive overly long. Very impressed with it overall. Very worthwhile purchase.”
