Had a problem with my dogs chasing Roos and rabbits through the property fence. Used the collar a single time on medium about 100 metres away with the female Shepherd. She has not repeated the offence since and she comes back every time. She must have had a conversation with my male Shepherd because still havent had to use the collar on him. (Maybe he was better trained in the first place.) :-)

Hi John, thank you for sharing your experience with The Dog Line and the SportDog SD425X Remote Dog Training Collar. It’s great to hear how effective the collar was in helping manage your dogs’ chasing behaviour, especially at that distance. Reliable, consistent communication is exactly what our remote training collars are designed for, and it’s fantastic that your Shepherd responded so quickly after just one correction. We also had a bit of a laugh at your comment—dogs definitely seem to “talk,” especially when it comes to learning boundaries! At The Dog Line, we’re committed to providing high-quality remote dog training collars and behaviour training solutions that deliver real results for dog owners and professional trainers alike. Thanks again for your support, and we’re glad to hear both of your dogs are now responding so well. 🐾

I have a Sports Dog training collar, which has been amazing. I hadn’t needed to use it for some time, but wanted to do some chicken training. The Dog Line service was extremely helpful. They sourced the problem; the collar was not picking up the signal and clarified my purchase dates. As it was still under warranty I received a replacement collar. It made my year! Thank you The Dog Online Highly recommended ⭐️

If it weren’t for The Dog Line remote training collars these miscellaneous munchkins who can move like lightning wouldn’t be here with us today! Whether they were forgetting their manners around strangers or contemplating making a break for freedom through the rolling hills of our acreage home, only to meet their maker on the main road that backs onto our property…. Which is fenced! (But escape experts we are) Or demonstrating their natural prey drive to hunt anything with a pulse I couldn’t be more grateful for the waterproof, long range and very durable collars and remote which have enabled me to train our pups responsibly beyond previous training methods, which were successful until the excitement of the moment kicked in, and the call of the wild temporally clouded their judgement putting them both in danger. Recall is now 100% instant to the point where I rarely even switch the collars on but I still use them in unfamiliar situations ie: at the beach or busy public places. We had planned to install the barrier fence which would be perfect if they were outside alone at times, but since they’re inside pups the traning collars are perfect for backing up their boundary line for safety. So far they have never crossed the invisible line which I’ve trained them too. I was amazed how fast they learned and we use the sound check alone with the option of vibration in an unexpected emergency. Both our fur babies were socialised and trained from being pups, but responding to verbal commands from a distance was hopeless for me until we invested in the high quality remote trainers. Based on my experience I would recommend anyone to hire one first if unsure, so they can see for themselves how amazing it is to have peace of mind knowing you are keeping your dogs and others safe

We use this for www.snakeavoidance.com.au We are specialist dog trainers - we like to use the best most durable products. SportDog brand is not the cheapest but is probably the best we have tried. We have 5 of them!

At 9-month old Banjo my Aussie Bulldog had become to strong to manage on his daily walks as he would lunge with excitement when seeing other dogs and people, Banjo had attended puppy school, obedience lessons and doggie boot camp all to no avail! At this stage I was now experiencing terrible pain in my shoulder due to his constant lunging. I had heard of e-collars but must admit did not think they would really work, however after reading several good reviews I had to try one last training method and thank goodness I did! After chatting to Jo online I explained my problem training Banjo, Jo suggested I try the sport trainer 450m, I spent a few days learning the correct way of using the remote dog trainer collar, From the first day of use it was evident this was going to work, within one week Banjo had learnt NOT to lunge at dogs and people, Banjo now enjoys his daily walks and my shoulder is on the mend.
