This is my second ST1300 have been very pleased with both pans the first an 02 model and the latest is a 09 model there is a difference between the two!! the brakes , the suspension the all round ride is better on the 09!! would recommend the ST1300 to anyone.

Had a few bikes over the years this is my third Pan 09 model best one yet done a few minor adjustments to this one it like a Helibar riser enables the rider to have a better view in the rear view mirrors, added a plug socket in one of the glove boxes, fitted a Sat Nav, also has gear change indicator. Been twice to Europe touring two up does great mileage considering the weight it carries, looked at other bikes but not as nice as the Pan. It's a shame that Honda have never updated this bike because like me there would be lots of people very interested in a updated model I wouldn't changed the engine but would add in extras.

I have had various Honda motorbikes for many years but I find the ST1300 by far the most comfortable and easiest to ride especially long on journeys. Easy to service and maintain and spares are quite reasonable. All in all I highly recommend the ST1300 great value for money and surprisingly economical but most of all a great looking bike.

A very easy bike to ride. Excellent comfort for very long rides. Weather protection wonderful. Electric screen allows you to have a blast of air on your face or shelter behind. The ability to adjust the screen to reduce wind noise was also appreciated and much used. Wonderful power and handling. Never noticed any difference when carrying extra weight (pillion and luggage). I found it a struggle to put onto the centre stand. This was probably a combination of poor technique and the rear shock being a little worn (they do compress a little over time. Only time I had any problem in over 22,000 miles was after a full tank of Esso petrol. I cannot say for sure that it was the petrol, but the bike refused to tick over. No fault was found using the diagnostic machine at the dealership. The problem disappeared after using up all of the Esso petrol and refilling from a different provider. Prior to this I always bought petrol from the main brands. Since this problem, I am less fussy and have experience no problems with the Pan.
