I bought my Pan when it was 4 years old with 10000 miles on it, I have owned it for nearly 9 years now and done 76000 miles taking to just over 86000 now . My wife and I have been all over Britain and as far as Venice and Spain on various holidays over the years and it has been used for work and weekends . The bike has had very little done to it in all that time other than its services tyres and brakes, and is still going strong. I am now looking forward to taking it over the 100,000 mile mark in the future. So I can safely say that I bought the right bike for what I wanted to do with it.

A great compact tourer, designed and built for the job, rather than some models which have luggage as an afterthought. The model is now looking a little bit dated, but I will guarantee that the newer marques look more dated, sooner.

This really is the ultimate tourer. I bought this as a second bike with 76000 miles and a previous owner who didn't know what a bucket of soapy water was. The bike was caked in old brake dust, mud and crud. So bad that I thought the brake calipers were Matt black. I stripped her down, cleaned and serviced it and took it on a 3,500 mile trip around France, Switzerland, Austria and Germany and she didn't skip a beat. The engine is very reliable, great MPG unless you open it up. The seat could do with improving but it carriers two across Europe with all your kit. There are plenty of add ons and loads of custom toys too. I know other bikes like the new Triumph Trophy has loads of toys but for the money the Pan is awesome.

I absolutely love my bike. It is so comfortable to ride and pillion and with a full set of luggage can carry whatever you need for a few days away. Plenty of power when needed and great stability a low speed. Have not encountered any weave at higher speeds. The bike is heavy when at junctions and care should be taken if the ground is uneven when you atop. I am 6 foot 4 inches and on a couple of occassions my legs were just long enough to support the bike. In candy glory red the bike is a real head turner. Could not be happier.
