One of the great classics! Bought used and have had a variety of problems although with 70000 miles and a cheap price I wasn't expecting perfection. Very comfortable and sounds great.

Great bike, had my mind set on a VFR 750, was looking at a newer model with the single sided swinger but could not resist the F at the price I bought it for. I can use the bike to commute to my place of work and to go out for a long run ( weather permitting ). The bike sounds great, rides and handles great and seems ultra reliable. Build quality is typical Honda, it all works as it should and looks good for her age.

What more can be written about the VFR750? I am on my second one. This is a relatively new one from 1996, the second to last year they were registered in the UK. The last models that don't require any sort of electronic diagnostics. Phenomenal build quality. Spares availabllity is good. Mine now has approaching 40k miles on the clock. I have had to replace the starter clutch and the front wheel bearings. I have also replaced the steering head bearings and refurbished the forks. I am no longer a young man but can cover 400 miles in a day on this machine, enjoy every mile and not be a hunched cripple at the end of a long day out on it. I just love the sound of the gear driven timing and apart from a cam clearance check every blue moon have never had to put a spanner inside a VFR engine. Fuel lines can need replacing after about 20 years. Mine gets used throughout the year but still cleans up to look like new. 50 MPG under pretty much all riding conditions. In all I can't recommend these phenomenal modern classics enough.

Good all rounder,Had it since new R reg 2007.Finding it Heavy to manouver when off the bike" Now i am 60 years old" Whilst riding the weight of the bike keeps the ride smooth. Its a good bike for passengers. Only problems with it is ! Had two new rectifiers, So i now carry a spare with me "this a common fault"Honda have modified later units to keep them cooler. The gearbox encounters false neutrals sometimes I would definately consider a newer V.F.R.

Owned a streetfighter version for 4 years then bought the same model/year but full fairing. The bike is an excellent all-rounder. Enough power and torque for carrying a passenger with ease when needed. Very reliable and versatile. Most appreciated by riders over 40, I guess. Less headaches for same road performances. Love it. Gives me a boost of adrenaline every day on my way to work.

I bought my bike in 1997 after having looked at and tried many bikes. I rated it overall the best bike for my needs which was comfort for long distances, touring and pleasure. The quality of the bike is superb and after all these years it is still in showroom condition while many of it's competitors are long gone. I would not have the slightest hesitation in purchasing another Honda due to me enjoyment and total lack of any breakdown in all the years that I have owned my present bike.
