Truly mind blowing, epic performance and something that you never really get used to. Tremendous brakes and traction control and quite surprising comfort. I find im not shifting about in the seat at all. Incredibly stable at speed and very easy to ride. One sentence can explain it all really i suppose. What a machine, what a masterpiece.

I have owned my zzr 1400 now for 2 years and I love it . It's a ballistic missile and comfy mile muncher all in 1 . I have fitted full hard luggage with quick removable sw motech system. Fitted a set of genmar bar risers . Brembo pads and hel braided brake and clutch lines . This bike does everything in style and is the best bike I've ever owned . Previously having blackbirds & hayabusa 's . Strong engine great handling . Gives an average 45/50 mpg 2 up loaded with luggage and a good 200 mile tank range . I will be updating my zzr to a newer generation 2 model in 2017 . I would highly recommend anyone to get 1 of these thrill seeking monsters ☺☺☺☺

Rider comfort is good but the first item i added was a pair of handlebar risers to lift the bars by 30mm. Then i changed the screen to a Double-Bubble, to raise the air-flow at speed, from my lower chest to my shoulders. These two modifications made a huge difference in rider comfort when cruising at motorway speeds, or 'scratching'. on country roads. One modification I would dearly like to benefit from, is that the fan stays on when needed, after the ignition is switched off; if the engine is hot. e.g. If i have a had slow ride due to heavy traffic, even on a mild day, the engine temp can easily be up in the 90's. I stop the bike and the fan is running. I then switch off the ignition and this also cuts off the fan. After a few minutes, if i turn the ignition back on, the fan cuts in immediately before I have started the engine. This tells me the engine is too hot and needs air circulation. On my previous m/c, a Triumph Sprint 955i, under similar circumstances, if the engine was v.hot, the fan would continue to run after the ignition was switched off, until the temp was brought down to a desirable level. Having the fan run-on when needed, gives better re-assurance that damage due to excessive heat is not going to occur. On the ZZR, I am left in doubt and uncertainty after switching off the ignition, when the engine is obviously v.hot.
