Hi Sarah, Thanks for your review. I'm sorry to hear that you did not feel this product was up to scratch. Our MAP-packed mussels can appear slightly open and unresponsive when they are removed from the box but this doesn't usually mean they are not alive and fresh. If you ever feel something isn't right with a product, the best thing to do is get in touch and we will be able to give you all the information you need to either reassure you or advise you to discard it.
