“I have always bought live mussels from local shops like waitrose and thought they are very good already and not until i tried these. These really have transformed my perception of cooking mussels at home! These mussels are SO CLEAN and sweet and fresh, I do not think i have any dead ones in my batch and there is no sand which unlike a few times I ate at London restaurants (not cheap ones), they are so full of sand. Will order AGAIN !!! and won't go for others”

“There was big, white, plasticky, gritty bits in the meat of a lot of the mussels. The ones without grit were lovely and they seemed fresh.”
