As a result of bad weather and farming shortages at last minute, our team had to source an alternative supply from our usual mussels supplier at very short notice. “The mussels we received were from the Shetland Islands, not Cornwall. Very large, pale and fleshy and quite strong in taste. I liked them but not everyone did.”
