“Desk is pretty sleek, shiny, and overall very decent. The electric motor mechanism works well, is quiet, and is quick. There's barely any wobble at the top so it feels sturdy. And it definitely feels like a desk that will last a while. Customer service is also pretty quick to respond as well.
The only complaint I have is that on trying to attach the cable management bar that I ordered for the desk, I discovered the pre-drilled holes into the desktop were incorrect, and I had to drill additional holes myself to attach the bar.”
“Bought 60" and 72" Signature straight edge for our office during 2020 quarantine. As we will be spending many hours each week working we decided to get some standing desks to sit less during the day!
For sizing reference: in the photo on the left is the 60" desk with a 27inch wide monitors and a MacBook pro. The desk on the right has 2x 24-inch monitors and a Dell laptop.
The mechanics are very fast and powerful, and the assembly wasn't too difficult as we had some help. They are very heavy desks and very stable with no wobble. My 192cm tall friend needed the desk up really high and it was still very sturdy. If you plan on standing for long periods of time (for me I stand for about 2 - 3 hours at a time) you'll want the standing mat for support. We also got ours from onmidesk.”
“The onmidesk pro 2020 is exactly what I need for working at home.
The mechanics that move the desk are smooth, quick and quiet.
I got the smallest size which is sufficient for laptop, keyboard, mouse and monitor.
I was concerned that the black table top wouldn't look very nice but it actually looks quite stylish.
I got the monitor arm which is convenient.
I also got the cable management bar which takes care of lose cords and fits a power board in it. I would recommend getting this. It makes it a lot tidier.
Assembly did take some time. Also a power drill is recommended for the wood screws. The predrilled holes for the cable management bar did not match the bar.( There were four, when there was supposed to be three). In any event if you get the monitor arm you can't use them anyway because you need to place cable management bar in a slightly different spot. Therefore you need to drill some small pilot holes in the table top. This is fairly straightforward though.”
