“I've had the board for a week now and have taken it out three times. So far, it's even better than I had hopped for. The build quality seems great, all of the accessory parts are 5. The foot pad feels just a little slippery when it's freshly wet, but very secure after a few minutes, and it's pretty comfortable. I've had little past experience with inflatable boards, so some of the drawbacks due to that are probably normal. This board takes a TON of air, and deflating it properly requires even more pumping, so you get a serious workout before even hitting the water. It's certainly more flexible than a solid board, but I'm not sure it's a problem, and certainly worth it for the portability. It seems that the built-up steps on the sides are the carbon reinforcements, and they're small enough that it makes me wonder if they make much difference or if they're there for the marketing. Not having tried last year's model, I don't know. The pump is awesome, the three fill modes help maximize air flow and get me on the water as fast as possible. The bag is incredible as well, there are a few useful pockets, the zippers are pretty bulky, and the synch-down straps help condense the kit when it's all packed up. Some of the stitching looks like it might not go the distance, but it's too early to tell yet.”
