“I've never been on a paddle board before so purchased this based on many 3 reviews on Amazon as well as numerous sporting websites. It was not as "stable" as I anticipated although after a couple times out I was getting better. There are definitely skills and techniques that need practice. I have definitely spent some time in the water! For beginners like myself make sure you can get back on the board especially from deeper water - also takes some practice. Also, to pump the board up takes some effort. Not like a bike tire - more like pumping up your car tire with a hand pump. I leave mine pretty much inflated as long as I plan to use it regularly. I plan to keep at it but I have to say the board and accessories are quite nice. I'm sure this sport gets more enjoyable as my skills improve!!”

“I got the 138 isup and loved it! All around the best board for the price and quality. I have taken the board out all over San Diego. It handled great in the harbor and bays. I have even taken it out in a 3 mile ocean tour in 3 to 4 swells. The only think I could say to improve would be to add a stomp pad on the tail. Though I have been ok with out it. I may add one down the line if I see more need for it. O, and by the way I am not one for accessories most of the time I feel they are not worth the extra cost, but I love the cooler it came with.P.S. The customer service has been amazing, I lost the blade to my paddle and they were very helpful in getting me a new one.Thank you Thurso for all your hard work, and keep it up I will like to see what you guys do in the future.”

“I am very happy with my Thurso Surf Waterwalker, it's a great, reasonably priced board. It comes with everything you need nicely packed into a carry bag/backpack. It blows up quick and easy with the pump, takes about 5 minutes to fully inflate. The paddle goes together easily and because it's carbon fiber it's lightweight. Fins slide in and lock and I like that you can choose whether you want a 3-fin setup or just a 1-fin setup. The board moves through the water with decent speed and tracks well. Overall I am very happy with the this board, the convenience of an inflatable can't be beat!”

“I truly love this iSUP. I'm a newbie to paddle boarding, but have been an avid kayaker for years. I did a lot of research prior to buying a board, and that paid off. The board is 3 quality, comes with many extras like a great cold bag and a really nice, light carbon shaft paddle. It's also a very nice design and I like having the option of 2 +1 fins...particularly on windy days. I even love the pump. I was worried I might have difficulty inflating the board to 15 psi, but I did not have a problem....I mean, it's not a walk in the park, but it only took 15 minutes (and I'm a 59 year old, 5'6" and 140 pound female). In addition to the great board, I received 5 customer service. The carry bag that arrived with my board had a smallish whole/tear in it, and when this was mentioned to the supplier, it was immediately replaced. I would definitely recommend checking out the Thurso Surf Waterwalker if you are interested in an iSUP....it's a great deal for the price.”
