“The finished effect is fresh and modern, but my tiler nearly quit because the tiles were inconsistent sizes. Only a mm here and there, but it ment the grouting spaces were varying sizes to compensate.
There were also two tiles with printing faults. Thankfully I had ordered spares.
Over all I wouldn't recommend these tiles.”
“The tiles on the display in the showroom were in my opinion not representative of the actual tiles received. On opening the boxes the tiles received appeared damaged. However, on further investigation it was found on your website that there are I fact nine different patterns on the tiles. In my opinion i do not believe all 9 patterns were used on the showroom display, It was far too perfect in its look.
When we tried to fit them our tiler found issues with the sizing of the tiles. in terms of length they differed from 602 to 598mm, there were similar issues with the width 302 to 298mm. This caused problems for the tiler as he then had to sort them into tiles of the same size, to ensure same sizes were fitted in rows and columns and leave a straight grouting lines. As a consequence we had to purchase an additional box to ensure a good look and finish.
There was also some problems with corners of some tiles that were were damaged and chipped.
Taking all this into consideration, the tiler had to sort all the problem tiles to try and use them for various cuts required.
All these problems resulted in having to pay the tiler for an additional day's labour.
If I had not purchased these myself from yourselves as a reputable retailer, I would have assumed that they were of seconds quality.
