“I substituted this bottle into my sake club order from the alternative recommendation group. I chose it because the description and the reviews indicated this one was on the sweeter side, which I prefer. It also did not hurt that the bottle was eye catching. I tried it chilled and on its own. It hit all the right notes for me. It started clean and crisp and then had that wonderful soft rice sweetness that I love in a sake. I was hoping to get either the cherry or vanilla as mentioned in the tasting notes, but for me, I tasted something closer to an almost ripe strawberry. It was very pleasant and refreshing, especially as it gets hotter outside. Overall, this is a fine sake that I would recommend, especially if you like them sweeter.”
