Jozen “Aqua” Reviews

4.6 Rating 41 Reviews
This sake is wonderful! It leans on the dry side but is balanced perfectly. It has a sweet, fruity nose and some white florals like honeysuckle as well. On the palate it’s clean and crisp with a slight bite to the tongue. A nice bit of texture without being too overpowering as well. Some minerality and hints of melon rind. I also got some rich, creaminess like yogurt or oatmeal lingering in the finish. Overall super refreshing and delicious! Would pair this with spicy tuna or something fatty like yellowtail belly or salmon sashimi.

This is refreshingly cool and light. I have enjoyed this sake at room temperature. I hope any who purchase this sake will have a wonderful experience as well.

Aroma Incredibly fresh melon. Clean. Taste Fresh and pure. Honeydew and pear mostly. Dry but full. Starchy finish.

This was my first time trying Jozen Aqua. Since I love Jozen Pink, I imagined it would be very good too. It is very smooth with a strong flavor of fruit. If you prefer sake with an alcoholic kick, this would be for you. It pairs perfectly with heavier foods too. It is delicious.

Definitely needs to be cooled. I wasn't expecting it to be so rough. Tippsy recommends 40-60 degrees but I'd say 30. When it's room temp or barely cool it has a strong alcohol punch that hit the back of my throat and would make me cough. I still really enjoyed the saké though. When it's cold you definitely get the brown sugar. So good!

Delicious! Great pairing with red meats and seafood for myself personally, good with heavy soups or chowder or stews!
