“It starts with a good and noticeable pear note upfront and finishes with a nice alcohol note. The body is a bit heftier than the daiginjo. It pairs fantastically with and holds its own against flavorful dishes without overwhelming them.”
Hi Robert,
Thank you so much for your detail review. Wakatake is so unique sake and I agree with you. This saker is kind xof dry sake, but you can feel light and clean. Therefore, it must be pair with some sushi or light seafoods. If you like this sake, I recommend Otokoyama which is also dry sake.
Hi Boonyanee.
Wakatake “Onikoroshi” Junmai Ginjo is really great sake, and we also have some really great Junmai Ginjo sake.
If you would like to try Junmai Daiginjo sake, let us know. We can help you!
“The sake assorted at Tippsay is great. This is a really good example of big initial flavor bomb and then a pleasant alcohol (really I meant it) finish.”
