“Very enjoyable Honjozo. Flavorful and easy to drink. I really enjoyed just having a glass of this to sip on next to me while winding down for the day. Not a lot of exciting complexity, but would be great with savory snacks or a meal.”
“Straight out of the fridge, this sake is clean, crisp, and dry, and something that could be enjoyed any day of the week. It had a hint of sweetness and a subtle grain flavor. At room temperature, the sweetness was a little more prominent, but I also thought the alcohol was more pronounced, though it did fade some after letting it breathe. Overall, I really enjoyed this one, more so served chilled.”
“This sake punches above its price point- it’s really versatile for food pairing but great to sip on its own as well. We paired it with chicken kebabs and it was lovely. I really loved the juicy notes from this one.”
