“This nihonshu was pretty decent. I drank it at room temperature first and found it to be a bit bland compared to others I've had. Then I chilled it and some of the aromas came out. I didn't try heating it but that might increase the flavor as well. Might be nice to give it a shot, but I'll probably order a different one next time.”
“Nice, pretty smooth. Personally thought cold it wasn't anything special. Warmed up I liked it quite a bit, especially towards the warmest temps. A good addition to my roster of atsukans!”
“This is what I call a サラリーマン酒 (salaryman sake). After work in Japan it’s a pleasure to close the day with a smooth, refreshing glass of Otoyama 男山 (man’s mountain). Affordable and reliable. Quality that won’t drain your wallet. Great glass after glass with snacks. Terrific with sushi, saba (a type of grilled fish), or a hot bowl of noodles.
Comfort. It’s all about comfort. Lean back and let this brew slide down your parched throat. Ahhhh … 上天 (up to heaven).”
