3 Point PTO Wood Chipper Attachment 25" rotor (Up to 40HP) Reviews

4.7 Rating 60 Reviews
Read Titan Attachments Reviews

Effortlessly mulch branches and brush up to 4" in diameter during landscaping, composting, and forestry projects. This mulcher has a self-feeding chute to cut down on the time and energy spent on each job. Once you drop a branch in, you are free to grab another. Plus, the adjustable exit chute allows you to direct wood chips exactly where you need them to go. An over-sized rotor increases chipping efficiency while reducing vibration, even with thicker and harder woods.
Operating at 540-1,000 RPM, blockages are quickly eliminated for easy material flow. This PTO-driven attachment is compatible with 3 Point tractors and is available for machines up to either 40HP or 70HP. This shredder is also equipped with reversible blades to extend the life of your attachment, air vents to prevent overheating, and twig breaker paddles to tackle smaller branches, twigs, and leaves that could clog your mulcher.

Works exactly as advertised. As far as packaging and setup, I do have a couple comments. The chipper arrived in perfect condition. My only issue was with the PTO shaft (which arrived taped and in bubble wrap). The only reason I mention this is if it happens to someone else, I want to share what I did to make it work. PTO shaft did not telescope out at all. It was 100% stuck to the point I had to cut away the plastic cover, and use a hammer/chisel to tap it apart. Once I got the two sections apart, I scraped away the carbon or paint that seemed to cause it to stick, and applied lubrication. No issues from that point forward.

Bought this for my ranch in Texas. Handles anything I throw at it under 4 inches. Just have to cut it short. I recommend using a PTO clutch so you don’t go through the sheer pin.

The chipper works great. I wish that I had purchased it 10 years ago.

I bought this chipper to help with Ian's storm damage and it has not let me down. Made a few tweaks and everything chips down to nice mulch.

It’s rated for 4” wood, but the shear pin breaks after running 2” wood through it a few times. It plugs a lot also. It is on my 38 hp tractor running at 1000 rpm.

The wood chipper works very good. The only problem I had was, the pto shaft was to short on a quick hitch.
