3 Point PTO Wood Chipper Attachment 25" rotor (Up to 40HP) Reviews

4.7 Rating 57 Reviews
Read Titan Attachments Reviews

Effortlessly mulch branches and brush up to 4" in diameter during landscaping, composting, and forestry projects. This mulcher has a self-feeding chute to cut down on the time and energy spent on each job. Once you drop a branch in, you are free to grab another. Plus, the adjustable exit chute allows you to direct wood chips exactly where you need them to go. An over-sized rotor increases chipping efficiency while reducing vibration, even with thicker and harder woods.
Operating at 540-1,000 RPM, blockages are quickly eliminated for easy material flow. This PTO-driven attachment is compatible with 3 Point tractors and is available for machines up to either 40HP or 70HP. This shredder is also equipped with reversible blades to extend the life of your attachment, air vents to prevent overheating, and twig breaker paddles to tackle smaller branches, twigs, and leaves that could clog your mulcher.

What a machine, I finally picked up enough nerve, and hooked the chipper to my tractor, and me and my wife, well we did some heavy chipping, you see I am 84, and she is 81, we made a great team, as we have for the last 64 years, I would recommend this Chipper to anyone, come on you young folks, what are you waiting on, buy your wife a chipper from TITAN. Thank you Titan. The old, and young c.& S

I bought the smaller of the two chippers for my 24.9 hp Yanmar SA424. My last chipper was a Bearcat for a 33 hp Deere. This new chipper out performs the other hands down. I had two people walking limbs to me to feed into the chipper and they couldn’t keep up with me feeding this beast. This machine actually self feeds with four large cutting blades. The opening is way wider which means little fussing and removal of side limbs to make it feed. Wow, did I ever make the right choice this time. Engine never slowed down either!

Titan should consider adding several shear bolts to each order, I went through several before I learned how to operate the machine. Here's a hint, if your feeding anything over two inches be sure to start with the large end. I had quite a few limbs, some very long that were cut to 8' lengths. When the small end was feed first occasionally the butt end would turn sideways in the chute neat the end of the cut result in a broken shear bolt.

Chipper works great. Need 4X4 blocks under it to use my Quick hitch on JD 1025R. Make sure to adjust blades to specifications. I had jamming problems with very small branches until I did that. I quit a long time before it does. If it fits, it chips. I have a stand of sugar maples, which always drop limbs and branches.

Works great on the back of my Kubota LX2610. Only gets bogged down on trees that barely fit in the feed throat. Needed some fine tuning adjustments but now one of my favorite tools. I did have to add some legs as it was too low to hook up with my quick hitch. Some CMU or wood blocks would also do the trick. Overall great value.

Assembly was no problem. The packing crate made it easy to unload from the delivery truck. The machine performs pretty much as represented handling up to 3" wood easily and bigger if you feed it carefully. It appears very rugged. The blades are not difficult to service. I have not used it enough to judge longevity but overall I am very pleased with the way it is built and works.
