We love our new pull-up bar! Right away my 3 sons and I started a pull-up competition for the month! Couldn't be happier with it! We screwed a 2x4 into the ceiling rafters and then screwed the pull-up bar to the 2x4. It's plenty sturdy!

The incredible quality and price of this pull up bar is amazing. I used to use a door mounted pull up bar but it kept damaging my door frames and the foam on that pull up bar continued to tear off, I just replaced it with duct tape. Eventually I opted to purchase this amazing pull up bar. Like I said, the quality is incredible. I do wish they had a disclaimer and said the installation process would be a bit of a challenge. I attempted to install it on my own and that was an epic fail. Mainly because of the lack of instructions on set up. The instructions were "assemble pull up bar on ground. Pick up pull up bar and mount to ceiling on studs." While that is correct, there’s a little more than that. You have to find the studs, ensure that the next set of studs are the same distance apart as the pull up bars frame, ensure that you align the holes for the bolts to each other, you get the gist. An easy fix for this would be if they included a disposable layout of the bars that you can tape to a ceiling and show where the bolts will go, ensuring the customer places those holes over studs. I understand the extra cost that would come to the company if they did this, but they could probably do away with the paper instructions since they included those along with a QR code to the instructions online as well. But overall, great product, just make sure you have someone to help you install it and a lot of patience!

It works great. A little slick so I plan to wrap it but it's very sturdy and aligned with our ceiling stud placement beautifully

This works well in our basement and is helping tremendously to build my pull ups and other rig work. I was able to assemble and hang it myself. Very sturdy!

It is good, but the bar itself is not the best material for gripping.

Installed on a 9ft drywall ceiling and anchored into studs with the provided lag screws. Installation is secure and the assembly is built robust enough for my 210lb frame. Bar is wide enough for any grip width. I plan to attach a pair of rings for versatility in use. Located in garage and the best thing is it's never in my way. Good value for the money.
