I am in my 50's. I used to run until I hurt my left knee and my right hip. I went to my doctor who sent me to a physical therapist. Nothing helped. Someone told me to do barbell squats to strengthen my core. I did the squats, but could only squat up to 95lbs free weight. My lower back would start hurting. We went ahead and purchased this Smith Machine because I wanted to prevent lower back injury. Well, it is great. I can squat pain-free now.

Love the machine. I’m a tall person at 6’2” so I wish the track would go lower once loaded but it stops on the safeties. I work around by stacking step up boxes inside so I can do modified deadlift and Romanian deadlifts as well as good mornings and rows. Otherwise great machine! Put it together myself which was a little tricky but easy to just stand up the sides and tie a string from the ceiling to hold it in place while you connect cross rails.

Great product . After ordering the product went on sale for about $80 cheaper than I paid. I called the company and said that the product went on sale and that I haven’t even received the item yet. I assumed that like most companies they would adjust the price and that would make me want to be a customer for life when buying fitness equipment. They told me their policy is only if you purchased the item with 24 hours of the sale price. Then they told me if I return it I would pay a restocking fee. Then I find I am missing a few washers when assembling the machine and now the company wants me to go buy the missing washers … and they will reimburse me . Should I have to do this? I don’t think so. I don’t complain about anything but if a company can’t do right by their customers then the company should not ask their customers to do right by them and go buy missing parts .

Great equipment. Easy to assemble and not too heavy where it can’t be moved if necessary. We are loving it!

Bought 2 Titan Smith Machines and they are exactly what I needed. Easy to put together and sturdy. I read several positive reviews before purchasing and everything is true. Probably the best weight capacity to purchase cost ratios you can find. In other words, Best bang for your buck if you need a commercial smith machine. The packaging alone was exceptional. No way this is going to come damaged, as it was packaged in a locked down, wooden box. Absolutely great! If I had any complaint at all, it would be that the safety stop at the bottom doesn’t go all the way down, so it doesn’t allow you to do deadlifts or bent over rows from the floor. But We built a sturdy wooden box to stand on, so now you can.

I absolutely love this machine. For an older person that is wanting to avoid injury, it is great. I’m 64 years old and I’m pressing 220 and I’m wanting to increase my weight and the only person I have as a spotter is my wife and we both agree to be safe is to have a smith machine. Some people will say that the smith machine will cause you injuries. Any machine will cause injuries if not used properly. Just remember to set up your position first before adding weight. I I always use dumbbells for working my stabilizer muscles. Great price and well built machine. Delivery was great and the unit was in a crate well packed.
