“I have a pretty basic home gym in my basement and wanted to add to it this year. The biggest thing that I was missing was a cable machine. I wanted to keep my budget as low as possible without sacrificing too much quality. After watching a bunch of YouTube videos about affordable cable machines, I set my eyes on this one. Especially since the height of this one was perfect for my basement. It fits with a few inches to spare. I've had it for a few weeks now and I really do love it. The assembly is pretty easy if you are a moderately-skilled DIYer. The instructional manual wasn't the best when it came to routing the cables through the pulleys. The manual makes it look like you attach the pulleys first but if you skip ahead, you will see that you have to run the cables through BEFORE securing the pulleys. Also, there didn't seem to be any lag bolts for attaching the machine to wood studs. I'm not sure if they were supposed to be or not, but I happened to have a few around and just had to purchase a few washers from the hardware store. I was also impressed with the quality of the build. Decent material and sturdy. As for the operation of the machine, it's great. I haven't had any issues with smoothness yet but maybe after more use. Easy to load up, easy to adjust. The amount of exercises that you can do on this thing is nearly unlimited with the right attachments. I will be working it into my routines going forward.”
