“These TwistLock Pro collars are honestly the easiest ones I’ve used.
You slide them on, give them a quick twist, and they lock. That’s it. No squeezing hard. No lining up levers. No overthinking it. The twist takes almost no effort, but once they’re locked, they’re locked.
What stood out to me is there’s basically no movement once they’re on. I’ve loaded multiple plates per side and used them for bench, rows, overhead work, and even with the bar stored vertically. The plates stay tight. No rattle, no creeping, no gap opening up mid-set. That’s really all I want in a collar.
They also feel solid in hand — not bulky, not cheap plastic. The outer texture makes them easy to grip even with chalk on your hands. After a few sessions, using them becomes automatic.
I train in a home gym, so I appreciate equipment that doesn’t need babysitting. These go on fast, come off fast, and don’t make me think about them during a workout. They just do their job.
