Eliminate the need for a spotter and focus on the eccentric phase of your lifts with these Eccentric Hooks. Attach the hooks to the end of your barbell to front-load your first rep with extra weight on the -in.negative-in. portion of your lift, and let the hooks drop off, leaving you with just the weight on the bar for the remainder of your set. As you reach the bottom range of movement and the angled footplates touch the ground, the hooks will release from the barbell, enabling an explosive lift.

Very happy with these!! Spend some time getting them adjusted to your needs, there’s a little bit of a learning curve. Once dialed in they work great!!

Absolutely perfect. Several holes for just the right adjustment. Great way to overload the eccentric phase. Zero reason to pay more elsewhere, these work excellent.

Great hooks. But because of use for squats, and bench it would help if these had their holes numbered.

These are one of the best strength plateau tools. Unlike bands or chains you know what your lifting and can address breakdowns in your the big 4 as well as overload eccentrics to lift more down the road or lift more during rep/speed work. If you setup properly I’ve come up with great variations during rows/Rdl’s as a way to do a drop/strip set with these babies. FANTASTIC TOOL!

I like to incorporate negatives in my routine but I workout alone. This piece allows me to safely keep them in my workouts for an extremely affordable price. Thanks Titan!!
