“These DBs are great! Had them for a couple of months now and can't beat the price for what you're getting. Haven't maxed out the dumbbells but I did purchase an extra set of handles (the shorter ones) to use when I'm at 60lbs or less per DB. They are heavy duty but don't be surprised if you have to tighten after each set when using 80+lbs. Not a big deal and I understand why. The motion of picking up the DBs onto my thighs and then abruptly moving them again to the ready position causes natural commotion that the tighteners can't handle. Happens half the time. If you have a spotter handing you the DBs that would alleviate all of the commotion and chance of them coming loose. But even when they get loose the weight doesn't move much which allows me to finish the set. Highly recommend these!”
