If you are using bumper plates, this will only hold up to three 45 lbs plates.

I bought this Hex Bar for carries, shrugs, deadlifts, etc and it has not disappointed. The gnurl is very aggressive, which I personally prefer. If you are using bumper plates, keep in mind that the sleeves are not very long compared to Rogue's Hex, so this bar cannot be loaded much more than 3x 45# bumpers per side. Again, was not an issue to me. The packaging was beat to hell when it arrived, but upon inspection, it appeared to be the fashion in which FedEx handled the box. The bar was undamaged once opened though. I would recommend this bar to anyone, especially when compared to FringeSport ($215), Rep Fitness ($125 + Shipping) and Rogue ($295-$325 + Shipping)

Bought the bar on black Friday with a 15% discount. So far I love the bar. Pros the medium knurl, the overall quality for the price, and mine came with collars. No cons for me, the packaging came in overall good shape, the bar did have a small nick, but I'm extremely happy with the bar.

This bar has been working out great. The knurling is plenty grippy and the sleeves are long enough for me. Cant beet the value of this bar.

Received this bar about a week ago. When it arrived, one of the sleeves had actually already popped through the box and had pretty clearly been dragged around on concrete, as it was a bit scuffed up. While this is probably 90% FedEx's fault, I found the packaging to be pretty poor in general to prevent this. There were some wood pieces in there to hold the bar in place (which had broken, hence the bar ripping through the box), but otherwise no foam or anything else to help reduce the odds of this happening. As far as the bar itself, so far so good. Bar feels solid, knurling is grippy. The only real downside is the sleeves are pretty short, so if you use bumper plates and lift heavy, you might not have space for all the weights. Given the bar is only rated for 500lbs, it's not too huge of a downside. Pretty much everybody lifts more with a hex bar than a straight bar, so it's worth keeping in mind the limit on this bar is a bit low. If you're already a heavy lifter (or are aspiring to lift very heavy), you'll probably want to look elsewhere. For everybody else, it's solid, looks nice and works well.

Decent bar and price is right. Titan eco bumpers you can only fit 3 on each side. Iron plates you can fit quite a bit more but bar is only rated per titan site for 500lb, I've only had 405 on it for farmer walks and I'm not sure I'd trust it with more then rated 500lb, just something to be aware of before purchase.

This is great trap bar for the price! It functions as it should, and I have yet to have any issues with it. I only have 2 minor complaints: 1. The loading sleeves are only 10", which isn't a problem with my cast iron plates, but I really can't load it up with bumper plates. Something to consider for those out there that use bumper plates exclusively. 2. The loading sleeves on this bar are close to the handles, and the lifting surface on my platform is 48" wide. This means I can't use my platform as-is with this bar as half the plates would bounce off the wood instead of the mat. Luckily, I had some mat leftover, so I just cut out two 24"x24" squares and set them where I need them. Not a big deal for me, but something else for others to consider. Bottom Line: You simply can't beat the price of this bar. I'm not terribly rough on my equipment, so I can't testify to it's resilience under abusive conditions (read: I don't bounce it off the ground too hard). But it has served me well in the short period of time that I've owned it.

This is an awesome bar for the price. I use a Rogue bar at the gym. The Rogue bar sleeves are a little longer. Other than that performance is the same.
