I've been searching for a deal on an SSB since we moved to the country and 35 minutes from any gym. If you don't know what this bar is for, or how to properly use it check out this video by Brian Alsruhe: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q16f3WAcGCg&index=7&list=LLZVuCf7iC6c-l1gb6W60pjQ&t=15s. I've had 3 shoulder surgeries from weight lifting injuries, and this is exactly what I needed to continue squatting. This bar not only enables me to continue, but make gains and beat PR's at age 52 because it's not just for rehab. I was hesitant to purchase the V1, so I ordered the Elite FTS ssb ($460 w/ S&H on sale). As soon as I saw Titan had a V2 out, I cancelled the order w/ Elite FTS and purchased this one. The camber and handle spacing is perfect. I'm 6' 1"/230 lbs. My wife is 5' tall and has no problem using it either, though it's heavier than what she's used to. Shipping was very fast and the bar was packaged very well. Less than half the price and the quality is just as good as anything I've used in any gym. One reviewer complained about the finish not being perfectly smooth on the underside camber bend. While this is true, it doesn't bother me one bit. The Rogue SSB finish is the same, but not as noticeable since it's black. The padding is very dense/comfortable, and the vinyl and stitching seem very sturdy. The handles can easily be removed if you want for different exercises. Overall- this is a fantastic bar and the value for the money is top notch. Don't hesitate to purchase this bar!

If you are serious about squats and are looking for a Safety Squat Bar to round out your training, look no further. The fit and finish is consistent across the bar... the padding is comfortable and easy to replace (although it will be some time till you need to do so)... and the angle of the camber and handles strikes just the right balance between comfort and safety. I just posted a review of this bar comparing it to their earlier version on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r5gafdHeZNQ Good luck with your fitness.

I owned the Titan v1 SSB and it was ok, I felt for the price I could live with the shortcoming's. I ordered the v2 SSB and what a difference! From packing (arrived perfect and packed well) to the weight and quality of the bar (impressive). Literally makes the v1 look like a toy. Very glad I purchased the SSB v2, the padding and bar seem like an exact copy of the Elite FTS SS Yoke at half the price. If your on the fence, jump off and pick this up, one of Titans best! Excellent comfort and balance and perfect yoke spacing!

Ordered on Monday while out of stock, received it 4 says later packaged perfectly and way early to boot. As for the bar itself, it is amazing! Padding is great, nicely balanced, and is an outstanding piece of equipment.

Having used both the Elitefts and the Rogue options as well as having owned another cheaper variation of SSB bar I can say this bar is right up their with the SS Yoke as far as the best I've used. It sits really well on your shoulders and if you flip it around works great for a variation of the front squat. Best Titan product hands down.

I had been researching SSB for a couple months and almost pulled the trigger on one of the high end bars like elitefts...THEN, I saw the Titan SSBv2 with improved design and pad. I decided to give it a shot and I'm GLAD I did!! The balance is excellent and takes a lot of pressure off the shoulders and neck. I swear it feels almost neutral balance when you first stand up (very different from a straight bar). Grabbing the handles will make you feel extreeemely stable and solid through the lift. The motion is somewhat different than a regular squat, but, unless you are an experienced powerlifter, it should be easy to adjust and get used to (and worth it). The pad is very thick, solid and comfortable...hard to imagine the average person, lifting less that 500 pounds (or even more), would compress this pad to the point that it would be uncomfortable. I'm 6'1" and 220 pounds - and the width of the handles is great - the bar rests perfectly on my neck/shoulders. I haven't had shoulder issues before, but must say I LOVE not having to stretch my arms and shoulders as I normally would with a straight bar. I can't definitively say this is as good a high end SSB, but this is a quality product that will not disappoint. This is, without question, the best bang for the buck in a SSB. Stop shopping. You've found your SSB.

First off, let me say that I've been wanting to get an SSB for a long time. I've researched various products out there for quite a while, but either couldn't fit the cost into my budget, or was disappointed in the quality. This Titan SSBv2 bar was my answer. The bar itself appears to be high quality and no issues with the padding or handle width. The camber seems to be correct for this type of bar and overall I'm very satisfied with the purchase. I'm fairly certain that this will last the entirety of my lifting career. If it wasn't for Titan, I doubt my home gym would be so well equipped.

I have been looking for a safety squat bar for a while now. I was hesitant to get the first version due to the handle width. I was happy to see Titan brought out the V2 with a narrower shoulder pad. I received it this week and very pleased with it. I found the width to be perfect for my frame. Any narrower it would be uncomfortable for me. This price point.....excellent bang for the buck. I have only hit this bar a couple times thus far, so it may be a little early to give my final impressions. But for now....i love this bar. It's been a tough year with injuries. I had a torn quad tendon and now a beat up shoulder. I need to work the quad, but I have to protect my shoulder as it heals. This bar is perfect for me to still get a quad dominate squat while not destroying my shoulder. This will go a long way to help with rehab of the knee and quad.
